It may not be the proper fit if it’s too hard to take off. If a ring is too small, you might still feel uncomfortable after wearing it for a couple of hours. It should be able to come off with just a tiny twist and turn and not need to have soap and water to remove it. And, of course, if your finger is turning purple with the circulation cut off, you need to have it resized.
