Traditionally, the engagement or proposal ring is worn on the fourth finger of the left hand, commonly known as the “ring finger”. In some cultures, such as in some European and South American countries, the engagement ring is worn on the fourth finger of the right hand. However, ultimately, it is up to the personal preference of the couple.
